Our values

Stories that teach what truly matters

Every MeInTheStory book grows from three convictions: family, faith and freedom. Your child is the hero, and every adventure gently plants a virtue that lasts a lifetime.

Family

Parents, grandparents, siblings and the pet join the story, by name.

Faith

Gratitude, trust and a heart that knows how to say thank you.

Freedom

Courage to choose what is good and to imagine without limits.

A letter to families

Why we created MeInTheStory

A word from the people who write, illustrate and review every page.

We are parents too. And we know how hard it is to find stories that entertain a child and, at the same time, tell them what we believe to be true and good.

Our books are not neutral, and we make no apology for it. They speak of a family that welcomes, a God who loves, and a child who is free to do good. We believe a well-told story teaches more than a thousand lectures, because it reaches the heart before it reaches the head.

When your child's name appears on the cover, when Grandma joins the adventure and the family dog saves the day, the child is not just reading about virtues: they are seeing themselves live each one. That is how values stop being words and become part of who they are.

Every book is reviewed before it is published. No gratuitous fear, no violence, no hidden messages. Only stories you would read aloud at bedtime without skipping a line.

Me In The Story Publishing

Family, faith and freedom, from the very first page.

Three pillars

What every story stands on

Family, faith and freedom are not the theme of one book or another. They are the ground every book walks on, from the forest adventure to the trip to space.

Family

Family is the first place a child learns to love. That is why mums, dads, grandparents, siblings and even the family pet join the story, by name. The child discovers they belong to something bigger, and that caring for one another is the greatest adventure of all.

  • Respect and affection for elders
  • Welcoming a new baby brother or sister
  • Traditions that bring us together: Christmas, meals, bedtime stories

Faith

We believe a child grows up more secure knowing they are loved by God and never alone. Our stories speak of gratitude, trust and hope in a simple, warm and tender way.

  • Short prayers a child can repeat
  • Gratitude for the small things of every day
  • Trust to face what feels scary

Freedom

Freedom is being able to choose what is good, and having the courage to do it. Our heroes decide, make mistakes, say sorry and try again. They learn that being free means taking responsibility for their choices and imagining without limits.

  • Courage in the face of the new and unknown
  • Responsibility for one's own choices
  • Curiosity and imagination without fear of getting it wrong
