Buying the book, step by step
Step 1 of 6: Choose the story
On screen: the “Books” page, with a finger tapping the cover of An Adventure in the Forest.
In “Books”, browse the stories by theme and age. Tap a cover to learn more, then tap “Personalize”.

Other ways to read
PDF in the Books app
On iPad or iPhone, open “My Account” and tap “PDF”. Then tap Share and choose Books. It works even offline.
Kindle
Send the EPUB file to your Kindle with Amazon’s Send to Kindle. The step by step is in Help.
For the grandparents
In “My Account”, send a secure link by WhatsApp or email. The recipient downloads the book without creating an account.
Questions everyone asks
Is it a printed book?
No. It is a digital book: it arrives right away, to read on a phone, tablet, computer or Kindle. If you want paper, download the PDF and print it at home.
Do I need to download anything from the App Store or Play Store?
No. The reading app opens in the browser and goes to the home screen in a few taps. It gets an icon and opens full screen, like other apps.
Can the child buy something by accident?
No. The app only opens the family’s books, for reading. It has no purchases and no account details, and the grown-up area asks a simple sum before it opens.
Do I need to type the code again every so often?
No. The code is typed once on each device. After that, the device stays connected until you disconnect it in “My Account” or until it goes a year without being used.
Can I read on more than one device?
Yes. Type the code on each device you want to connect. It is valid for 7 days only to connect new devices: those already connected keep reading. Code expired? Create a new one in “My Account”.
I lost the tablet. What now?
In “My Account” › “Reading app”, tap “Disconnect” next to the device. It stops opening the library right away.
Do I need internet to read?
In the reading app, yes. To read offline, on a trip for example, download the PDF in “My Account” and keep it in the Books app (iPhone and iPad) or in a PDF reader on Android.
The email with the sign-in link didn’t arrive.
Wait a minute and check your spam and promotions folders. If it still doesn’t arrive, ask for the link again or tap “Continue with Google”.
